My Personal Use This Week: Chapter 1

Every week or so I am now going to be sharing what I use of mine in the bathroom so you know just how personally I take these body products. Who wants to buy something that it’s own creator doesn’t use?IMG_1582August. The dreaded month of my birthday and everything peridot or similarly colored. Here’s the good news though! I have chosen to take my birthday with grace this year and try to adult. I said try.IMG_1578

Also in the spirit of green things and slowing down time’s wear and tear on your skin, I switched around my facial routine and (use it in the shower as a body scrub too!) started washing with my Vegan Green Tea and Mint Essential Oil Sugar Scrub. That fresh peppermint oil works away your aches and pains as you exfoliate away dirt and dead skin. The green tea has natural antioxidants that are known for their anti aging properties. It additionally leaves a fantastic moisture to your skin so rarely do you need a follow up body butter or cream, but of course I always recommend it. To keep my skin clear I use a small amount on the White Grapefruit and Sweet Orange Essential Oils Body Butter after I wash my face and I use my favorite Lavender and Lemon Essential Oil Body Butter on the rest of my body.

We then, of course, must talk about one of my favorite things, the charcoal mask. The Activated Bamboo Charcoal and Bentonite Facial Mask is a dream come true for me! It clears my skin and evens out the tone (stretch marks, scars, age marks, etc.). I use it 2-3 times a week, and there’s no feeling like a detoxed face! 😉 After washing my face, I put a reasonably thick layer on my face for about 30-40 minutes to make sure it’s dry. You don’t want to wash it off too soon before it’s dried because it will still be in the process of pulling out dirt and toxins from your skin!

After I’ve washed the dried mask off of my face with a warm washcloth, I use a mixture of vitamin E oil and Lavender essential oil to soothe my skin.

My skin feels so new and fresh from head to toe I could dance!…maybe I will😉
